Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin met with the pro-Israel American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) lobby on Tuesday to explain her views on Israel. He record shows little activity for or against Israel, where she said she plans to visit.

Republican campaign spokesman Michael Goldfarb said that her audience interrupted her twice with applause. She was accompanied by former Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Joe Lieberman, who now is an independent but backs the Republican ticket.
