Drink, Drive and Pay the Price (IsraelNN.com) Drunken drivers will have to pay five times the regular rate for car insurance effective next July if a Finance Ministry proposal is approved. The ministry cited the high number of accidents caused by drunken drivers. The change in comprehensive vehicle insurance regulations would be binding on all companies.
