Noam Shalit Asks Sarkozy for Help

(IsraelNN.com) Noam Shalit, father of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, has asked French President Nicolas Sarkozy to talk with Syrian President Bashar Assad to help to return his son. Noam Shalit originally is from France, and the head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal, lives in Syria.

Sarkozy is scheduled to arrive in Damascus tomorrow for talks with Syria and other Arab leaders on the Middle East. Shalit was kidnapped 800 days ago.
