A 33-year-old Pennsylvania leftist working with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) was sentenced to prison for 3 ½ years for transferring to Hamas $20,000 while working with the left-wing organization. The accused man, Richard David Hupper of the city of York, admitted to giving the money to the outlawed terrorist party.
He already is serving a term in prison for passport fraud, the local Evening Sun reported. Hupper traveled to Gaza, where he worked with the ISM before Israel deported him.
