Workers at Ben Gurion Airport are beginning to undo a logjam of suitcases of arriving passengers following union actions to hold discussion meetings with workers. Passengers have complained of delays of several hours in claiming thousands of pieces of luggage.
Traffic at the airport has been heavy as travelers return from summer vacations. The Terminal 3 facility broke all records of tourism this year, and nearly 60,000 travelers passed through the airport on peak days.
