Vice Premier Chaim Ramon said Sunday afternoon that flexibility in meeting demands on both sides of the negotiating table is key in working out a deal for the release of kidnapped IDF Staff Sgt. Gilad Shalit. "If there won't be any flexibility in demands on both sides, a deal regarding the release of Gilad Shalit would be impossible to reach," said Ramon.
The vice premier, who heads the Ministerial Committee for the Release of Palestinian Authority Prisoners, led a meeting aimed at creating a list of terrorists amenable to Shalit's captors that would persuade them to let him him go free.
