Anis Safuri, one of two Arabs from Shefaram arrested for suspected ties with Islamic Jihad and planning terror attacks, is the son of Jamil Safuri, who is suspected of killing Eden Natan-Zada, the AWOL soldier who shot several people to death on a bus in August 2005.
Jamil Safuri said Friday that, as far as he knows, his son is innocent, but that in any case he "does not oppose" the activity his son is suspected of, namely, violent struggle against Israel.
