One Lebanese soldier was killed and his army helicopter made an emergency landing Thursday after it came under fire in southern Lebanon. Hizbullah terrorists dominate the area where the chopper was hit, according to foreign news services.

The incident came one day after the United Nations extended the mandate for U.N. Interim Forces (UNIFIL) to operate in southern Lebanon. Hizbullah has re-armed and is considered to be stronger in the area than it was before the Second Lebanon War two summers ago.
