Nigerian Militants Deny Kidnapping Israeli Businessman Reported: 15:25 PM - Aug/28/08
(IsraelNN.com) The Nigerian "Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta" has denied responsibility for kidnapping a 60-year-old businessman from the Israeli city of Ra'anana. The group, comprised of indigenous gunmen from the region, said it would be willing to help find him if the Israeli embassy asked for its assistance. The kidnap victim, a project manager for a construction bank, has a home in the Nigerian city of Port Harcourt. He was pulled from his car by four gunmen after he reportedly had left an event held at the home of a Nigerian governor. His driver has been arrested on suspicion of being connected with the kidnapping. No one has claimed responsibility for the abduction, the victim's identity and that of his kidnappers remains unknown. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
