The Israeli who was kidnapped in Nigeria Tuesday is the construction manager for the country's new $70 million central bank. No one has claimed responsibility for the abduction, and no ransom demands have been made, raising fears that the victim was sold to terrorists.
The man, whose name has not been released for publication, is from Ra'anana and is in his 60s. Four armed men grabbed him in a parking lot after his driver took him home following an event honoring Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Moshe Ram. The driver is being investigated for possibly being involved in cooperating in the kidnapping.
