Foreign Ministry officials in Toronto are launching a $1 million advertising campaign that will feature Israeli scientific and cultural achievements on billboards and bus shelter posters, with the background of the Star of David (Magen David). Under the slogan "Touching Lives--Innovation Israel," the advertisements will display a video pill camera and other technological successes of Israel.

"We have a good product. We just have lousy marketing," Amir Gissin, Israel's consul general in Toronto, explained in announcing the public relations effort aimed at Toronto's 180,000 Jews.
