(IsraelNN.com) A bogus audio tape of kidnapped IDF Staff Sgt. Gilad Shalit is making the rounds, reported IDF Army Radio on Sunday morning. A voice similar to that of the captive soldier says on the tape, "I am the kidnapped soldier Gilad, son of Aviva and Noam Shalit. You are invited to celebrate with me the third anniversary of my captivity by Hamas, in the last place where I was still a free man."

The style of the phrasing on the tape is similar to that of an authentic tape released a year ago by the Hamas terrorists who kidnapped the soldier. The report added that bumper stickers calling for Shalit's release have also been circulating, some of them printed in script resembling Shalit's handwriting.
