Defense Minister and Labor chairman Ehud Barak said Thursday that he is not concerned that his party might get rid of him even before the next Knesset elections, following its dismal performance in the polls.

The Labor party, Barak told his confidantes, is not in the habit of deposing its leaders.

The latest Ha'aretz-Dialog poll showed Labor getting just 12 or 13 Knesset seats.
