American law enforcement officers have arrested 54-year-old Akram Musa Abdallah of Arizona for allegedly raising money for the Holy Land Foundation, a front for Hamas. The indictment charging him stated that Abdallah "knowingly and willfully made a false material statement when he represented to FBI agents that he was not involved in fund raising activities for the Holy Land Foundation."
He faces up to eight years in jail and/or a $250,000 fine for providing support to an outlawed terrorist organization.
