Police Thursday night forcibly evacuated pro-nationalist activists, including those in the Movement for a Jewish Shdema, from the former IDF site adjacent to Bethlehem. The activists are meeting at a hilltop community in Gush Etzion to plan a larger gathering at Shdema.

The government has backed off plans to turn the site into a residential community for the Palestinian Authority (PA), and the Movement for a Jewish Shdema has staged frequent marches on the area.
