Israel will reopen the Kerem Shalom commodities crossing in Gaza for the first time since an April suicide attack at the crossing that injured thirteen IDF soldiers, one seriously.
According to Israeli Defense Ministry spokesman Peter Lerner, about 80 trucks would be allowed to pass through the crossing in a "trial run," before it is officially reopened as part of the Egyptian-mediated truce between Israel and the PA-sponsored Hamas terrorist group that governs Gaza.
