Report: Livni Helped Abu Ala's Daughter Get Israeli ID

(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni used her clout to help the daughter of top Fatah-PA negotiator Ahmed Qureia (Abu Ala) receive Israeli citizenship, Channel 10 reported Sunday.
Livni relayed the request by Queria's daughter Moula to the Ministry of Interior. Moula, who lives in Abu Dis, asked to be allowed to join her husband in Israeli east Jerusalem.
Livni did not deny that she transferred the request to the Interior Ministry "as is commonly done and as is required." The report noted that obtaining a blue Israeli ID card is virtually impossible for Arabs from the Fatah-PA unless one has connections.
