Beilin Accuses Knesset C'tee of Lobbying for Defense

Meretz party chairman and Knesset Member Yossi Beilin launched a scathing attack on the chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Kadima Knesset Member Tzachi HaNegbi for fighting proposed cuts to the defense budget.



Beilin, also a member of the committee, said HaNegbi had led the committee to “become a lobby of the defense establishment instead of supervising and criticizing it.”
