Following partial work stoppages by Israel Electric Company employees that began Sunday morning, IEC Director Amos Lasker said that workers who do not show up for work will not be paid for hours missed and will not be offered alternative employment.
Lasker said that workers began their actions in protest of a streamlining and reorganization program. "I am sorry to see that the employees chose a path of fighting the Company's management through work stoppages that hurt the Company and its clients, instead of talking."
