Arab Poet Darwish To Be Buried in Galilee or Ramallah

(IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas has called for three days of mourning for Arab poet Mahmoud Darwish, who died Saturday in a Texas hospital. He was to be buried in the Galilee, where he was born and where his family lives, but the PA wants the funeral to take place in Ramallah.
Darwish's condition turned for the worse after an apparent successful open heart surgery on Wednesday.
