Rabbi Moshe Levinger, a pioneer in the re-establishment of the Jewish community in Hevron, is due to undergo additional surgery after having been hospitalized late last year for a stroke. He first came to Hebron in 1968 and rented rooms in order to hold a Passover Seder and then remained until the government agreed that his family and supporters move to a former army base, where they established Kiryat Arba.
Readers are asked to pray for the speedy and full recovery of Rabbi Moshe ben Tirtza.
