For the fourteenth straight year, Women in Green is holding its special Tisha B'av event. Megillat Eicha is being read on Saturday night at 9:45 PM in Jerusalem's Safra Square, and from there the group will march to the Old City, where they will make a circuit around the walls.

Women in Green said that the march would be dedicated to opposing the government's plans to dismantle Migron, and move its population to another yishuv. “Unfortunately, it's not just the Left that is talking about dismantling Migron, but even public officials and rabbis in the National Religious camp. The people are opposed to this, and through the march, we will express our uncompromising loyalty to every place in the Land of Israel.”
