The Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court Friday extended the remand of Shmuel Levy, a former Labor party activist, by four days, after he attacked a man outside the party's headquarters in Tel Aviv and caused him serious injuries.
Levy claimed that the victim, a man aged about 50, is a pedophile, and that he acted to save a child from being attacked. Police say they are not aware that there was a child in the vicinity, though.
