Khaled Kashkush, the Israeli Arab who was indicted Wednesday morning for spying against Israel of Hizbullah, did not cause any damage to national security before he was arrested, official said. He was arrested three weeks ago at Ben Gurion airport, but the arrest was not disclosed until the indictment was filed in a Petach Tikva court.
Kashkush was in touch with the head of a Hizbullah charity organization, which put him in contact with a Hizbullah agent who paid him for information on Israelis in Germany, where he was studying, and on Jewish patients in an Israeli hospital.
