Arab brothers inside Hamas-controlled Gaza made an illegal contribution to Sen. Barack Obama's campaign, according to government election filings exposed by the Atlas Shrugged blog.

The blog documented a series of donations made to Obama's campaign in 2007 from two individuals, Monir Edwan and Hosam Edwan, totaling $29,521.54. In an online form on Obama's campaign site, the Edwans listed their street as "Tal Esaltan," which they wrote was located in "Rafah, GA." Blogger Pamela Gellar wrote:."You'd think GA is for Georgia.  IT'S NOT!  There is no Rafah Georgia. It's Rafah GAZA."

A WND investigation tracked down the Edwans, who are brothers living in the Tal Esaltan neighborhood of Rafah. "The Edwans are a large clan that includes top Hamas supporters," WND wrote, but they deny any affiliation to Hamas. U.S. election laws prohibit contributions from foreigners and donations over $2,300 from one individual.
