Prime Minister Ehud Olmert sharpened his verbal attacks on Labor party chairman and Defense Minister Ehud Barak Monday, rejecting a demand that the next government be formed without Daniel Friedmann as Justice Minister. "I am the Prime Minister, and if I have to choose between Barak and Friedmann, I will choose Friedmann," the Prime Minister told a Kadima caucus meeting.
He said it is a mistake for anyone else to think he can determine who will be a minister in the government, Labor party secretary Eitan Cabel responded that Prime Minister Olmert will not head the next government.
