A woman described to be around 20 years old is in good condition Thursday morning at the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba after having been bitten by a snake at her home in Hod HaSharon, near Tel Aviv.
More than a dozen people have been bitten by snakes the past several weeks, and zoologists have explained that the unusually dry winter and the hotter than usual summer are behind the epidemic.
