Israeli Teens Arrested in Cyprus on Intrusion Charges

Three Israeli teens were arrested in Cyprus for allegedly intruding into a local hotel room. The three 18-year olds were from Ashkelon and the Western Negev town of Nitzan, where many expellees from Gush Katif are living in trailers.

Cyprus authorities charged the Israeli teens with intrusion, following an incident in which they entered a neighboring hotel room, where other Israelis were staying. One of the three is Snir Batito, whose mother was killed in a terrorist attack near the former Gaza Jewish town of Nisanit.
