Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Sunday that a gag order to prevent media coverage should be put in place regarding the negotiations for freeing IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit. Such an order would increase the talks' chance of success, he estimated.

Barak added that Egypt was cooperating with Israel to prevent smuggling of weapons from Egypt to Gaza.
