(IsraelNN.com) The Arab League has attacked International Criminal Court (I.C.C) prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo's request to arrest Sudanese President Omar al-Beshir on charges of genocide in Darfur.

On Saturday, Arab foreign ministers accused the I.C.C. prosecutor of being "unbalanced," according to the AFP news agency. Arab League members insisted that it was "the mandate of Sudan's civil judiciary in achieving justice" rather than the purview of the international court to address alleged Darfur war crimes.
