Six young Arabs from Israel and eastern Jerusalem were arrested in June and July this year for an Al Qaeda related plot. They were arrested by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) in cooperation with the Israel police.

A gag order regarding the case was lifted Friday morning.

Some of the Arabs arrested were students at Hebrew University. They formed a closed religious group and planned to create an Al Qaeda infrastructure within Israel.
