Middle East expert Dr. Mordechai Kedar, who recently defended the Jewish claim to Jerusalem in a much-acclaimed appearance on Al-Jazeera TV, will establish a new Zionist Arabic-language TV channel.

Following his appearance, Kedar told Omedia, people from Israel and abroad approached him with an offer to help establish a channel that "will not be bound by the rules of 'political correctness' which have paralyzed Israeli PR/information work and rendered it "anemic, weak and apologetic" in his words.

Kedar plans to show Israel "as it is" on the channel, which will include news, programs about Islam and the Arab world, about women and their problems in the Arab world, and about industry, medicine and art in Israel.
