Palestinian Authority negotiator Saeb Erekat says his team and their Israeli counterparts will meet with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and other American officials in Washington later this month.
According to the Associated Press, Erekat said chief PA negotiator Ahmed Qureia and Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni would meet with Rice on July 30, but Foreign Ministry spokesman Aryeh Mekel claimed no knowledge of the plans.
