Israel can protect itself against any threat from Iran, said National Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer on Thursday in a meeting in Turkey with Foreign Minister Ali Babacan over the nuclear crisis. However, he said, moderate Islamic countries should be equally concerned with the issue.

"Israel will overcome the Iranian threat. Whatever the is, we will know how to protect ourselves against any attack. Enough with the talk about destruction and pain," said Ben-Elieizer in remarks aimed at Iranian Foreign Minister Mouachehr Mottaki, who is in Syria for meetings with officials there. "There is no difference between our children's blood and the blood of your children," Ben-Eliezer added.
