Teva May Spend $5 Billion To Buy Barr Drug Company

(IsraelNN.com) Israeli-based Teva Pharmaceuticals, the world's largest generic drug company, is negotiating to buy the giant Barr drug company for $5 billion. If the deal is finalized, it will be third acquisition this year by the aggressive Teva company.

Barr deals in both general and propriety drugs.
