The IDF grant posthumous promotions on Wednesday to IDF reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, whose bodies were returned to Israel by the Hizbullah terrorist organization that kidnapped and murdered them on July 12, 2006.
First Sergeant Goldwasser and Sergeant First Class Regev were posthumously promoted to First Sergeant and Sergeant First Class, respectively, announced the IDF.
Details of the time and locations of their funerals will follow.
