Hizbullah Digs In, Pouring Foundations for New Attacks
(IsraelNN.com) Arab sources indicate Hizbullah is entrenching itself for another attack on Israel. The organization is reportedly stockpiling “truckloads” of building materials such as steel and concrete in order to restore and expand the terrorists' network of fortifications in southern Lebanon. These underground bunkers, usually hidden by natural cover such as trees and foliage, were coined “nature reserves” by the IDF in the 2006 Lebanon War, and proved difficult targets to find and destroy.
The “Dalal” company of Beirut reported that it provided Hizbullah with bunker-building and other materials. The company also reported they were shipped southwards towards Israel’s border. Eyewitness accounts allege that Hizbullah members are preventing UNIFIL forces from inspecting the trucks or preventing their movements.
