Vandals damaged a Holocaust memorial plaque in the Ukrainian city of Lviv. The plaque at the local train station notes that Nazis deported 500,000 Jews through the station to death camps in Poland during the war.

Jewish tourists reported that they noticed a hangman and a Star of David had been scrawled on the plaque. Police were notified but there has been no report of an investigation.
