(IsraelNN.com) Israel's enemies view Israel a being weak because Prime Minister Ehud Olmert remains in power despite deepening suspicions of corruption, Transportation and Road Safety Minister Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) told Voice of Israel government radio. The Transportation Minister is a prime candidate campaigning to replace Prime Minister Olmert in the Kadima leadership primaries in September.

"Many of our enemies consider these affairs as a sign of weakness in Israel, and in my opinion security is the most important thing," the Kadima minister stated. "We have to prove that we are strong."
