Fire crews battled a blaze that broke out in a residential building on Borochov Street in Petach Tikva Thursday night. There were no casualties but the building was extensively damaged.

The spokesman for the rescue forces in the Petach Tikva region said that fire crews who were alerted to the scene identified the source of the blaze, evacuated residents and managed to bring the fire under control.
