MK Yitzchak Levi (NU/NRP) said Wednesday that Education Minister Yuli Tamir needed to apologize to "every single schoolchild" for her offensive language in the Knesset's Education Committee Tuesday.

The verbal fisticuffs between Tamir and MK Ronit Tirosh, he said, exuded disrespect. "It said that it is OK to use offensive words with each other. It exuded everything that we do not want to educate towards," he explained.

Levy mentioned names of past Education Ministers, such as Zalman Haran and Yitzchak Navon, who exuded "respectability and manners," while "the Minister of Education expressed the opposite."
