A 23 year old construction worker from the Arab village of Umm al-Fahm was killed this morning in an accident at a building site on Degania Street in the central city of Netanya. He was trapped beneath fallen debris from collapsed scaffolding and MDA officials declared him dead following unsuccessful rescue attempts.
Seven other workers are listed as injured in the accident and have been evacuated to the regional hospital for treatment.
