Three leftist Knesset members presented the European Union with a proposal for a law that would give cash to Jews who leave Judea and Samaria. MKs Ami Ayalon and Colette Avital of the Labor party and Avshalom Vilan of Meretz presented the law Saturday at an EU convention that was also attended by representatives from Syria, Lebanon and the Fatah-PA.

Several senior EU officials praised the bill and saw it as a possible sign of Israel's future intentions.
