"The Attorney General listens to no one," Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann told the government Sunday, adding: "He does as he pleases. He writes letters in violation of the code of conduct for government employees."

Friedmann was referring to a letter Mazuz sent to the government ministers last week in which he accused his boss, Minister Friedmann, of "abusing his powers" in establishing a committee of inquiry regarding the wiretaps conducted by the police and prosecution in the investigation of Vice Prime Minister Chaim Ramon.
