Senior Labor Party ministers reprimanded Science, Education and Sport Minister Raleb Majadle for refusing to toe the party line regarding the creation of a committee of inquiry in the matter of the wiretaps against Chaim Ramon. 

Shortly after the party announced that all of its ministers would oppose the committee's establishment, Majadle said he would vote in favor "because of the prosecution's treatment of the Arab sector."
