The head of the Knesset State Control Committee, MK Zevulun Orlev (National Union/National Religious Party), criticized Knesset legal advisor Nurit Alstein for supporting the establishment of a government inquiry into the conduct of police investigators during the criminal investigation of Vice Premier Chaim Ramon last year.
"That (Alstein) would get involved with a case that serves her masters in the Kadima Party and is totally outside the parameters of her office is not surprising," he said. "This corrupt government hand-picks a committee to investigate the investigators, and all of them set out for a crusade of revenge like some mafia."
