National Union/National Religious Party Chairman Zevulun Orlev has called for an investigation of Hadash party chairman and MK Muhammad Barakeh following reports that he met with Damascus-based Hamas terror chief Khaled Mashaal in Abu Dhabi two weeks ago.

"A meeting with the head of the snake, Mashaal, is a blatant show of support for a terror organization and the armed struggle against Israel," said Orlev, who asked Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to open a probe against the MK.
