According to a report published in the Israeli Arab newspaper Kul al-Arab, Arab Israeli Knesset Member Muhammad Barakeh (Hadash) met secretly two weeks ago with Damascus-based Hamas terror chief Khaled Mashaal in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting, which according to the article involved a serious discussion, took place during a conference on the "Nakba" ("tragedy" in Arabic, the term used by PA Arabs to refer to the founding of the State of Israel -ed.). Barakeh declined to comment on the report.
