Former Mossad chief Shabtai Shavit said Saturday that Israel might be forced to attack Iran by next year, adding that he did not believe Russia would support the US in its bid to stop the Iranian Republic from developing a nuclear weapon.
"In a year's time we will have reached the point of no return, when we will have to act against Iran," he warned. Shavit also said that if Russia and the US disagree on how to handle the issue of Iranian nuclear development, the end result would "leave Israel alone to face the enemy."
