Shula Zaken, former bureau chief for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, former Tax Authority director Jackie Matza and six other former senior government workers face indictment for fraud, bribery and breach of public trust, the prosecutor's office said. In a separate case, Zaken has maintained "the right of silence" during the current investigation against the Prime Minister concerning hundreds of thousands of dollars he received from American businessman Morris Talansky.
Also facing indictments are other Tax Authority officials, a businessman and Zaken's brother.
